The island line game
Outside the bonus, Hawaii Beauty is a 50-line slot on 5 reels and 4 rows. Wins run from the leftmost reel to the right and only the highest win on each line is paid. The picture symbols are a ukulele, a hand drum, maracas and a microphone, followed by A, K, Q, J and 10.
The WILD shows a lady with a hibiscus flower and is also the top paying symbol. It replaces every symbol except the red heart.
Four symbols in the bonus
Five or more red hearts in the Main Game start the Bonus Game with 8 free spins. Inside it only four symbols can appear:
- Red heart: carries a score
- Gold heart: its score is the sum of all red hearts on the board now, plus all gold hearts that were on the board before this spin
- Rainbow heart: comes with a random score, and every red and gold heart gets that extra score
- +1SPIN: gives one more free round, then disappears in the next spin
Full of Rewards
If hearts fill the whole reels, gold hearts included, the bonus game ends early. The help page words the reward as "win the Full of Rewards as 2 multipliers scored". It does not explain this any further, so we read it no further than it is printed.
Turning the score into a win
The help page gives one clear formula: BonusGame Win = Heart Score x (Total Bet / 50). So the heart score is scaled by your total bet divided by 50. What the help page does not say is how the red hearts get their own scores; the picture shows numbers such as 20, 120, 460 and 5800 on the hearts, without an explanation. No jackpot, Buy Bonus or maximum win is printed.
Keeping it in proportion
Since the bonus formula is tied to the total bet, a smaller bet means a smaller bonus as well as a smaller cost, so pick a stake you are comfortable losing. Read the formula and the paytable before you start, set a spending limit for the session and stick to it.
