Matching and dropping
The game fills the board with candies to suit the current level. Match the required number of candies of the same colour and they are cleared and paid: at least 4 on Level 1, 5 on Level 2 and 6 on Level 3. The help page does not say whether the candies have to touch each other.
After a clear, new candies drop from the top and can make new matches. This repeats until no match is left, and then the round ends. If special candies appear they are cleared first, and the payout is only worked out once none are left; the help page does not say which candies count as special.
Collecting candies to level up
A pink sprinkled candy is the Collected Candy. It appears on the board at random and can also arrive through drops. Ten of them upgrade the board to the next level automatically. On Level 3, collecting 10 more sends the board back to Level 1. One thing to know before you touch the bet button: changing the bet resets your Collected Candy count.
The Lucky Wheel
The help page says the wheel "has a chance to activated whenever players collected each candy" and "will always be triggered after every 10 candies collected", and it adds "100% chance to trigger Lucky Wheel when the board upgrades" and "Payouts is Guaranteed!". The results it describes:
- Free Game: 10 rounds with a random X2 to X5 total multiplier
- Candy Rush: candies of a random colour turn into Wilds, 2 to 5 times each trigger (the help page says this will "greatly increase the chance and amount of matches")
- JP: wins the prize accumulated so far for the jackpot the wheel stops on
Gaps in the help page
The wheel picture also has segments marked BONUS GAME, which the text never explains. No jackpot amounts, Buy Bonus or maximum win are printed. The three level tables pay the same amounts; only the number of candies needed for each step goes up with the level.
Keep the bet steady
Since a bet change wipes the collected candies, pick one stake that fits your budget and leave it there for the session rather than raising it mid-way. Check the level table on screen so you know what each match pays, and stop once your set amount is used.
Candy Baby paytable
Level 1 (4x4) table: pays for matching that many candies of one colour, shown for a bet of 1; the in-game table follows your selected bet.
