A zodiac festival on 25 lines
This Mega888 slot uses 5 reels and 3 rows with 25 lines. The symbols are the Chinese zodiac animals: rat and ox, snake, rabbit and dragon, horse and goat, monkey and rooster, and the pig. Several animals share a pay row, so the paytable is shorter than the cast of characters.
The help page lists wins from 2 to 5 of a kind along the lines. It does not say whether the numbers are multiplied by your line bet or your total bet, so check your win amounts in the game itself.
The tiger Wild doubles the win
The tiger is the Wild. It substitutes for every symbol except the gong scatter, and any win it helps to complete is doubled. The paytable shows this with a separate WILD column: for example the rat or ox pays 750 for five, but 1,500 when a tiger is part of the line.
The tiger also pays on its own: 5 = 10,000, 4 = 2,500, 3 = 250 and 2 = 10.
The gong scatter and the coin pick
The gong is the scatter and pays 5 = 500, 4 = 20, 3 = 5 and 2 = 2. Three or more gongs automatically give 8 free spins and open a pick screen.
On that screen you choose 2 of 5 gold coins. Each coin can add more free spins and/or a multiplier. According to the help page you can reach up to 33 free spins or up to a x15 multiplier.
During the free spins
- 3 or more gongs during free spins add 15 more free spins.
- Those extra spins keep the multiplier of the spin that triggered them.
- Free spins can be won again during free spins, with no limit stated.
Gamble and jackpot meters
After a win you can enter the gamble screen and guess whether the next card is red or black, or collect and return to the reels. MAJOR, RANDOM and MINOR jackpot meters are shown above the reels, but the help pages do not explain how they are won.
Playing at BolehSpin
Mega888 at BolehSpin runs as H5, so there is no APK and no separate Mega888 ID. Log in, open the Mega888 lobby and tap Chinese New Year. Your BolehSpin balance is used directly.
Tips for a festive session
Since the coin pick decides how long and how strong your free spins are, treat it as a bonus rather than something to chase. Set a budget before you start, try a smaller bet first to see how the game feels, and stop when the budget is gone.
