The FREE SPINS orb
The scatter in Frost Queen is a red orb labelled FREE SPINS. It does not need a line: anywhere on the screen, 5 orbs pay 100, 4 pay 25 and 3 pay 5. These scatter prizes are multiplied by your total wager, not by the line bet, and they are added to any line wins from the same spin.
Three or more orbs also award 15 free games, played at the same lines and bet as the spin that triggered them. More orbs during the free games can start the feature again.
The chest that doubles
The wild is not a character but an ice treasure chest marked WILD. It replaces every symbol except the orb and has no value of its own. In the base game, any win that uses one or more chests is paid double: the paytable shows a separate 'with WILD' column for that.
How 16x happens
During the free games the chest works differently. When it completes a win, that win is multiplied by 2, 3 or 4. If two chests take part in the same win, their multipliers are combined, and the help page puts the ceiling at 16x.
Symbols and line rules
The Frost Queen herself pays the most, then the explorer with his lantern. Both also pay for 2 in a row: 5 and 3 times the bet per line. Below them sit a crown and an amulet, an ice crystal and a golden key, and the letters A, K, Q and J.
Lines pay left to right, only the highest win per line is paid, and wins on different lines are added together. On screen, BET PER LINE times LINES SELECTED gives your BET.
Jackpot and the fine print
A progressive jackpot can be won at the end of any game. It is triggered at random and added to your other wins, with MAJOR, RANDOM and MINOR meters on screen. The top win for one paid spin is 40,000 times the bet per line. One line of the rules mentions a 'scattered Light', text left over from another game; in Frost Queen the scatter is the orb.
