Reels instead of lines
On each side of the reels is a REEL POWER panel, and the REELS FEATURE button sets how many reels you buy. You then choose your bet per reel. The total bet is the BET number multiplied by the credits shown on the REELS button.
Every win starts on the leftmost reel and runs left to right across adjacent reels; the highest win for each combination on your bought reels is paid. The paytable is written in credits for a 1-credit bet, and wins are multiplied by the credits you bet per reel.
Dragon wild and coin scatter
The green dragon head is the wild in the normal game. It lands on reels 2, 3 and 4 only and replaces every symbol except the gold coin. The coin is the scatter, but it still has to line up from the left on adjacent reels: 5 pay 50, 4 pay 10, 3 pay 5, multiplied by the total credits staked.
Pick one of five dragons
Three or more coins from the leftmost reel open a second screen with five choices. Your chosen coloured dragon (white, red, black, blue or yellow) then becomes the wild on reels 2, 3 and 4 and multiplies the wins it helps make:
- 20 free games, dragon wins x2, x3 or x5
- 15 free games, x3, x5 or x8
- 10 free games, x5, x8 or x10
- 8 free games, x8, x10 or x15
- 5 free games, x10, x15 or x30
Which option to pick
The help page says the five options are balanced to return essentially the same overall, so the choice is about style rather than value: more spins with smaller boosts, or fewer spins with bigger ones. During any option, a red envelope anywhere on reels 1 and 5 pays a bonus of 50, 20, 15, 10, 5 or 2 times the total credits staked. The feature can be won again, with the same reels and bet.
The golden symbols
The golden phoenix, the golden lion statue and the golden koi all pay 800 for five; they differ only for three (50, 35 and 30). The golden turtle and the red envelopes follow, then A, K, Q, J, 10 and 9. A and K pay the same for five but not for four.
Gamble, meters and BolehSpin
After a win you can guess red or black to double it or the suit to multiply it by 4, up to 5 times in a row. MAJOR, RANDOM and MINOR meters appear at the top, but the help does not explain them. At BolehSpin, Five Dragon runs as H5 in your phone browser with your BolehSpin login, no APK and no separate Mega888 ID. Buying more reels raises the cost of each spin, so set a budget and stop when it is reached.
