The cast of Hot Line
The woman in the black hat is the top symbol: 5,000 for five, 500 for four, 100 for three and 5 for two. The silver police badge pays 1,000, and the two detectives in light suits pay 500. Further down come a tiara and an emerald necklace (250), a ring and a gold bar (150), and a pistol and handcuffs (100).
The red car wild
The red sports car with a WILD number plate substitutes for all symbols. It has no pay value of its own. Its main role is the free games: on reels 2 and 4 together it wins 5 free games plus an expanded wild, as the paytable puts it.
How the free games run
Help page 2 explains the feature step by step:
- Any wins on the triggering spin are paid first.
- Reels 2 and 4 expand, and every position on them substitutes for all symbols.
- Reels 1, 3 and 5 are respun 5 times.
- The expanded reels each count once only towards scatter pays.
- The free games use the lines and bet of the triggering game, and their wins are added to payline and scatter wins.
A copied word in the help
The free-game text mentions a 'scattered chest'. Hot Line has no chest; its scatter is the sunset tile. The wording looks copied from another game, and we quote it only so you are not confused when you read the help yourself.
Red or black
After a win, the gamble asks whether the next card is red or black. The screen shows LAST CARDS, BANK and DOUBLE TO, and COLLECT returns your current win to the main game.
Rules worth knowing
Only the highest win on each line pays, and payline wins are multiplied by the line bet. The scatter pays 100, 10 and 3 for five, four and three. No RTP or jackpot rules appear in the help.
Tips
Check the total bet for 20 lines in the BET box. The feature needs the car on two specific reels; do not raise your bet to chase it. Decide your limit first and keep to it.
