What you see on the screen
The game screen is an underwater hall with seats around the edge; empty seats show WAITING. On the right are AUTO and LOCK buttons. The help page does not describe these buttons, and it does not explain the cost of a shot, what the multiplier is applied to or the chance of a catch. This guide only repeats what that one help page prints.
The creatures and their multipliers
The small fish start at X2 (a small dark fish and a red spiky fish) and climb step by step: X3, X4, X5 and so on up to a golden arowana at X35. A turtle sits at X10, a jellyfish at X15 and a swordfish at X20.
Above that the help page prints ranges instead of single numbers. A pale blue ray-like creature shows X40-X120, a sailing ship X120-X150, a treasure chest of gold X100-X200, and three warrior pictures show X40-X300, X120-X220 and X120-X500. The silver dragon has a fixed X320. The help page does not say what decides where in a range the result lands.
Six special items, in the help page's own words
These items carry text instead of a multiplier:
- 忠義堂 plaque (the Hall of Loyalty from Water Margin): '50 times, lock screen for 10 seconds'.
- A gold flower ornament: 'Four together to capture'; a second one: 'Three together to capture'.
- Green bubble: 'Randomly hit 5 other fish'.
- 水滸傳 flame emblem: 'Full screen fish (At least X100)'.
- Gold ring: 'All captuerd with the same type' (the vendor's spelling).
The two rooms
The room-select screen shows two rooms: 100 Times x10-x100 and 1000 Times x100-x1000. The help page is the same in both and does not explain these labels. Li Kui Pi Yu 10000 is a separate lobby entry with the same help page and only one room, 10000 Times x1000-x10000.
Playing with a clear limit
A fishing game has no spin button that marks the end of a round, so keep an eye on the time and your balance yourself. Decide your budget before you enter a room, watch the balance on your seat, and leave when the budget is used. Wins are never guaranteed.
Li Kui Pi Yu multipliers and special items
Multipliers and item texts exactly as printed on the help page. The help page does not say what the multiplier is applied to, the cost of a shot or the chance of a catch.
