A festive set of symbols
The money tree and the jade pot of coins sit at the top of the regular symbols with 750 for five and 2 for just two on a line. The festival drum stands alone on the next step at 400 for five, then the mandarin oranges and the firecrackers share 250. The letters are drawn as crystal shapes: A and K pay 150, Q, 10 and J pay 100, and the 9 also pays 2 for two.
The 福 coin wild
The gold coin with the character 福 replaces every symbol apart from the God of Wealth, and any win it takes part in is doubled. That is why each box on the paytable has a second WILD column next to the normal value: five money trees show 750 normally and 1,500 with the coin. Five coins on their own are worth 10,000.
God of Wealth and the bonus
Three or more God of Wealth symbols anywhere start the bonus. Before you pick anything you already hold 8 free spins at x2.
- You then choose 2 of 5 to add free spins, a higher multiplier or both.
- The help text says 'choose 2 out of 5 flowers', but the picture next to it reads 'PICK 2 GOLD COINS'. The text looks copied from another game; the picture matches this one.
- The ceiling given is 33 free spins or a x15 multiplier.
- Three or more scatters during the free spins add 15 more, at the multiplier of the spin that triggered them, and the help says this can keep going.
Red or black
After a win the GAMBLE screen asks one thing: will the next card be RED or BLACK. COLLECT keeps the win and takes you back to the reels. The help page does not set a limit on how many times you can gamble.
What the help leaves out
The MAJOR, RANDOM and MINOR meters at the top of the screen are not explained, and the help does not say which way the lines pay. There is no RTP or maximum win either, so this guide does not quote any. The paylines button is printed 'SHOW PAYLIENS', a vendor typo.
Keep it a celebration
Check the total for 25 lines before you press AUTO START, set a budget for the session and stop when you reach it. The gamble is optional, so feel free to collect every win.
Lucky New Year at BolehSpin
Open Mega888 in the BolehSpin lobby and pick Lucky New Year. It plays in Chrome or Safari as H5, so there is no APK and no separate Mega888 ID, and the balance is your BolehSpin wallet.
Lucky New Year paytable
Normal values as printed; the game's WILD column shows the same line doubled when the 福 coin helps.
