The king's treasure
King Midas pays 2,500 for five, 500 for four, 100 for three and 5 for two. The crown on its cushion pays 1,000, 125, 75 and 3. The silver goblet and the treasure chest share 500, 75, 15 and 2. A and K pay 250, 30 and 10, Q and J 200, 20 and 5, and 10 and 9 100, 15 and 5, all multiplied by the bet per line.
The golden temple door
The temple door is the substitute. It appears only on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5, so it can never sit on the first reel, and it replaces every symbol except the golden hand. A win that includes it is doubled, which is the WITH column on the paytable.
How the free games start
The trigger is a pairing rather than a count of scatters: you need a golden hand on reel 1 and a temple door on reel 5 in the same spin. That awards 7 free games, played at the lines and bet of the triggering spin.
- Every prize in the free games is tripled.
- Some symbols carry a golden-hand background; three or more of these anywhere in a free game add up to 3 extra free games each time.
- The feature itself cannot be retriggered.
The golden hand
Outside the feature the golden hand pays anywhere on the reels: 200 for five, 15 for four, 5 for three and 1 for two, multiplied by the total bet. The help prints 'ay total bet', a small typo.
Jackpot and the fine print
A progressive jackpot can be won at random at the end of any game and is added to your other wins; MAJOR, RANDOM and MINOR meters run across the top. Wins on different lines add up, only the highest win per line is paid, and a paid spin can win at most 40,000 times the bet per line. Unlike some sister games with the same pays, Midas's help text is clean and easy to read.
Spend wisely
The default screen is 20 lines at 0.05 per line. Check the total, set a budget for the session and stop when you reach it.
