Ocean King at a glance
The screen title reads Ocean King Ultimate (海王终极版). There are four cannon seats, two at the top and two at the bottom; an empty seat shows 请投币. LOCK, SWITCH and AUTO sit on the right, and the help page does not describe them. The help itself is one page with three panels: Rewards, Special Crab, Cannon, Fish, and Cannon.
How to read the Rewards panel
Every creature has a number under it. The help page prints only the number, with no 'x' and no word on what it multiplies, so read it as that creature's listed multiplier. Small fish start at 2 (a small yellow fish) and 3 (clownfish); the octopus shows 10, the turtle 15 and the manta ray 20.
Some creatures show a range instead of one number: the killer whale 30-100, the golden dragon 100-250 and the sea god with trident 200-500. The help page does not say what decides the value inside a range. Three fish appear twice: the normal clownfish, striped angelfish and pufferfish, plus giant versions marked 巨 that show 10-30.
The help page does not explain the cost of a shot or the chance of a catch.
Special crabs, special fish and FireStorm
The second panel lists six special items, in the help page's own words, shortened:
- Bomb Crab: releases several large Area Bombs, giving 'chance to catch the fishes within the Area of Effect', as the help page puts it.
- Magnet Bomb Crab: releases one large Area Bomb; the help page calls it a 'high chance' within the Area of Effect.
- Nail Crab: releases a Nail Bomb that pierces through fishes and bounces off the edge.
- Whirpool Fish (help page spelling): a whirlpool at the targeted area; all fish of the same type are trapped and scored.
- Chain Lighting (the help page's spelling): releases a chain of lightning that catches nearby fishes.
- FireStorm: 30 seconds of free shots; at the end of the 30 seconds the score is multiplied. The help page does not say by how much.
Cannons and rooms
The Cannon panel shows three pictures named Regular, High Speed and Tracking, with no text on how they differ. The room-select screen offers two rooms, labelled 100 Times x10-x100 and 1000 Times x100-x1000; the help page does not explain them. Ocean Kingx 10000 uses the same help page but has a single 10000 Times room.
Playing sensibly
Set your budget before you sit down and pick the room that fits it. Watch your balance, since the help page gives no cost per shot, and use AUTO only once you know what it does.
