Kitchen tools as symbols
The cleaver on the chopping board is the top symbol: 5,000 for five, 500 for four, 100 for three and 5 for two. The soy-sauce bottle pays 1,000, 150, 30 and 3. The steaming pot and the noodle box share 500, 100, 20 and 2, and the ramen bowl and takeaway box share 250, 50 and 15. Spades and hearts pay 150, 25 and 10; clubs and diamonds 100, 20 and 5.
How the feature starts
There is no scatter-triggered bonus here. The free games begin when the gold WILD lands on reel 2 and on reel 4 in the same spin. The paytable sums it up as '5 free games + expanded wild'.
Five respins with two wild reels
The help page explains what happens next:
- Wins from the triggering spin are paid first.
- Reels 2 and 4 expand, so every position on them substitutes for all symbols.
- Reels 1, 3 and 5 are spun again 5 times, at the lines and bet of the triggering spin.
- Wins from these respins are added to the payline and scatter wins.
A borrowed line
The feature text says the expanded reels also substitute for the 'scattered chest' and count once only towards 'scattered chest' pays. There is no chest in Penguin City; the scatter is the red-roofed tile, so this wording was copied from another game. We quote it as printed.
Scatter and gamble
The red-roof tile pays anywhere: 100 for five, 10 for four and 3 for three. After a win, the gamble page asks you to call the next card RED or BLACK; a correct call pays even money and COLLECT ends the gamble.
Counting rules
Only the highest win pays on each line, combinations pay left to right except the scatter, and payline wins are multiplied by the line bet. The help gives no RTP, no maximum win and no jackpot rules.
