Two directions, nine lines
Under the paytable the help says all lines pay either from right to left or from left to right (printed 'ribht'). The main screen shows BET LINES 9, so wins can be read from both ends of each of those nine lines.
The Spartan paytable
The queen is the top symbol: 10,000 for five, 500 for four, 50 for three, 10 for two and 2 for a single one. The round shield pays 5,000 for five. The signet ring and the crossed swords share 1,000 / 150 / 20 / 5.
Card letters fill the rest: A and K pay 300 / 50 / 10 / 2, Q and J 200 / 25 / 5, and 9 and 10 50 / 10 / 3.
Helmet wild and army scatter
The helmeted Spartan is the wild. The help writes 'Wild substutes for all ather symbols' (vendor spelling) and lists no pay for it.
The army in formation is the scatter: 100 for five, 10 for four, 5 for three and 1 for two, with scatter wins multiplied by the total bet.
Gamble War after a win
After a winning spin you may gamble the win in a card game. You compare your card, BIG or SMALL, against the banker card. Each win moves you up a level; there are five levels, x2, x4, x6, x8 and x10, after which the game returns to the main reels.
Gambling is optional. If you would rather keep a win, simply do not enter Gamble War.
Dollar Ball
A Dollar Ball ENABLE button sits at the top right. Its table: 5 catches win the JACKPOT, 4 catches the RANDOM JACKPOT, 3 pay 25, 2 pay 2 and 1 pays 1. The main screen shows MINOR and MAJOR meters. How Dollar Ball is played and its cost is not explained in the help.
