WILD and SCATTER
The WILD box shows a man with a long ponytail and the word WILD down its side. It prints 10000 for 5, 1000 for 4, 100 for 3 and 10 for 2, and it substitutes for all symbols except the SCATTER and the BONUS, both drawn as small pictures.
The SCATTER box shows an old man with a white beard. It prints 50 for 5, 10 for 4 and 5 for 3, and one line: the prizes are multiplied by the total bet. No free game rule is printed for the SCATTER.
BONUS on reels 1 and 5
The BONUS box shows a woman with a flower in her hair. Its rule says that appearing on reels 1 and 5 will win two different things. During the normal game it wins the bonus game feature. During the free game feature it wins a random number of additional free games with the initial multiplier. No pay values are printed for the BONUS.
The BONUS GAME: two fans
Under two example screens of open fans, the BONUS GAME panel gives three points:
- Choose one blue fan to win the free games.
- Then choose one green fan to reveal the multiplier, and the free games will start.
- The result may be up to 20 free games with 10 multiplier.
Page 2: FREE GAMES
Page 2 is an example free game screen with MULTIPLIER, FREE GAMES and TOTAL WIN at the top, followed by two points: the feature will be played at the lines and bet of the triggering game, and all prizes are multiplied by the multiplier.
Page 3: the paytable
The top row has three symbols; they and the bonsai that opens the second row also pay for 2, while the other four start at 3:
- Koi fish: 1000, 250, 50, 5
- Red gate: 500, 150, 30, 5
- Cherry blossom: 400, 100, 20, 5

Rule lines and paylines
Three lines follow: all symbols begin with leftmost reel and pay left to right only on adjacent reels on an active payline; all wins are multiplied by the line bet; only the highest win is paid on each payline. Paylines 1 to 20 are drawn below. The three pages print no jackpot, gamble or buy rule. Set a spending limit before you start and keep to it.
