Cascades where the winners stay
On every spin the help page says all winning symbols, Scatters included, remain on the reels while the non-winning symbols disappear. What remains falls to the bottom and a new set of symbols is put in. If more symbols of the same family join an existing win or form a new one, they stay too, together with the Scatters, for another cascade. When no symbol adds to a win, the cascading ends and only then are the winnings calculated.
Wins are paid left to right on ways; only the highest win on each way counts and wins on different ways are added.
The grid grows
The game starts as 6 columns and 3 rows with 729 ways. During the cascades the help page counts the winning symbols plus Scatters:
- 12 or more: one extra row appears at the top, a 4 x 6 grid with 4096 ways.
- 18 or more: two extra rows appear, a 5 x 6 grid with 15625 ways.
- After every spin the grid goes back to 3 x 6 and 729 ways.
Scatters that pay on their own
The Scatter is a red phoenix orb. It can land on all reels in the main game, up to 10 at a time, and pays in any position: 4 Scatters pay 5x, 5 pay 10x, 6 pay 15x, 7 pay 20x, 8 pay 25x, 9 pay 30x and 10 pay 35x. The help page writes these as 5x payout and so on without saying what they are multiplied by. Four or more Scatters in the main game also start the free game.
The free game and symbol upgrades
The free game gives 8 spins at the bet of the triggering game. Scatters do not appear in it, and the help page says a free game cannot be triggered twice.
At the end of each cascade in the free game, one of the winning symbols is upgraded at random to another symbol. The help page says that if there are identical and unlocked symbols on the reels, another cascade with prizes can occur, and that this can happen at most once per round. It does not explain what an unlocked symbol is. The help page also does not describe a Wild symbol.
Before you play
The paytable is shown for a bet of 1 and follows the bet level you choose; even the top symbol, the phoenix head, pays 2.00 for six, so compare it with your own bet. Decide a budget first, start small and stop when the budget is gone.
