Symbols and the paytable
The paytable page lists eleven paying symbols, each with four numbers for 6, 5, 4 and 3 matching symbols. The lion dance head is the top line at 80, 50, 40 and 30, then the golden toad at 50, 30, 25 and 20. Q, J and 10 all read 4, 3, 2 and 1.
The rules page says a win is the paytable value multiplied by the bet size and bet level, so these are not RM amounts.
How the ways pay
Bet ways win if the winning symbols are in succession from the leftmost reel to the right. Multiply the adjacent winning symbols on each reel to get the ways for a symbol, and the symbol payout is multiplied by that number. The example on the page is 1 x 2 x 3 x 1 = 6, so a payout of 40 gives 40 x 6 = 240.
Some symbols (excluding Wild) in reels 2, 3, 4 and/or 5 may occupy 2 to 4 symbol spaces, and each counts as one symbol. Winning symbols then explode and the symbols above cascade down for a new round.
Wild, Wilds-on-the-Way and Success Caishen
The Wild substitutes for all symbols except the Scatter and appears on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5 only. Symbols (excluding Wild) on those reels that occupy 2 to 4 symbol spaces may have a silver frame.
At every new round, a silver-framed symbol that took part in a win in the previous round turns into a randomly selected symbol, other than Wild, with a gold frame. A gold-framed symbol that took part in a win in the previous round turns into 2 to 4 Wilds, depending on how many spaces it occupied.
A Success Caishen symbol block 4 symbols wide may appear on the additional top reel; fully appearing there, it transforms into 4 Wilds.
Free spins and the gamble
4 or more Scatter symbols anywhere trigger the Free Spins Feature. Players may start it with 8 free spins (plus 2 for each extra Scatter) and x8 on all wins, or gamble for more free spins and/or a higher multiplier. Tap the top wheel for more spins and the bottom wheel for a higher multiplier. If the pointer lands on the green area, the gamble is successful.
A successful spins gamble adds 2 free spins, otherwise the feature ends; the most that can be won is 20. A successful multiplier gamble adds 2 to the multiplier, otherwise the feature ends; it is disabled at x20.
4 Scatter symbols during the feature award 8 more free spins; each extra Scatter awards 2 more.
