Reels that change height
On these Megaways reels the board's shape shifts every spin. Page 1 sets the limits: up to 7 symbols on outer reels 1 and 6, up to 8 on reels 2 to 5, plus an extra row over reels 2 to 5 turning independently, right to left. At most, 200704 ways.
A win starts on the leftmost reel and continues across neighbouring reels; combinations of any size count. Per pay way only the top win is paid, and wins from separate ways are added.
The cast of symbols
The top symbol is a dark hooded figure holding a scythe, the only one that pays for 2 of a kind. Then come a red-bearded man with a holly wreath and a horn, a white-haired woman with a gold headband, a young man with glasses, bow tie and quill, and a boy in a flat cap and red scarf, followed by A, K, Q, J and 10.
The Wild on the top row
The Wild is a stern grey-haired old man in a gold frame. It can stand in for any symbol apart from the pocket watch, and it is restricted to the extra row: reels 2, 3, 4 and 5, top row only. No pay is printed for the Wild itself.
Tumbles keep the shape
Winning symbols vanish, the rest fall and new ones drop in, keeping the size of the original spin result, so each reel's shape holds through the tumbles. The total is paid once no new win appears.
Choosing your free spins
Four or more pocket watches start free spins, and you pick one of four options: more spins from x1, fewer from x5, the fewest from x10, or a random number of spins with a random starting multiplier (full list below). In this round the win multiplier climbs by 1x with each tumble, and every tumble's win is paid at whatever value the multiplier has reached. A further 3 Scatters during the round bring 5 extra spins, and the page adds 'No limits!' to that line.
Before you spin: settings, purchase, ceiling
The Ante Bet section lists a 20x bet multiplier for normal play and a 25x setting; the buy section adds that the purchase is off while 25x is enabled. Without it, 100x the current base bet buys the round together with its menu of options; described here, not recommended. The printed win ceiling is 20,000x bet, bets run from RM0.20 to RM600.00, and the paytable amounts, read at RM2.00, change with your bet. Decide a budget before starting and close the game once it is used up.
