Board and lines
The board has five reels: three rows on the outer reels and four on the middle three. The game always plays 30 paylines, shown in a diagram on the help page. Wins need at least 3 matching symbols from the leftmost reel on adjacent reels; only the highest win per line is paid and line wins are added together.
The Undead Wild and its nudge
The Undead Wild is four rows tall and comes in three pictures: a werewolf, a pale man in a red-collared cape and a green hulking undead figure. It lands only on reels 2, 3 and 4 and always nudges until fully visible. Each nudge raises the win multiplier by 1, and if several Wilds nudge, their multipliers are added into one total. The help page does not say what value the multiplier starts from. The Undead Wild stands in for everything except the Scatter and ExMATCH.
ExMATCH and the Horror feature
ExMATCH is a bell on a green emblem and lands only on reels 1 and 5. With one on both of those reels in the main game, Horror starts: every low-paying symbol on the centre three reels becomes a Wild. The help page does not say which symbols count as low-paying.
Eclipse and Horror Eclipse Free Spins
Three Scatters give 6 Eclipse Free Spins. The help page shows no picture of the Scatter and prints no Scatter pay.
- Eclipse: at least one Undead Wild lands on every spin, and each ExMATCH that lands adds 1 spin.
- Upgrade: ExMATCH on reels 1 and 5 in the same spin turns it into Horror Eclipse, adds 2 spins and locks both ExMATCH in place.
- Horror Eclipse from the main game: 2 ExMATCH plus 3 Scatters give 8 spins.
- In Horror Eclipse the locked ExMATCH trigger Horror on every spin, so the centre reels lose their low-paying symbols to Wilds.
Hunting on a budget
Payouts are shown for a bet of 1, and free spins use the bet of the spin that triggered them. Choose that bet with care, set a limit before the first spin, and stop when it is reached.
