Wins in both directions
The line that sets this game apart is printed under the table: all wins pay left to right and right to left. A combination can start from reel 1 or from reel 5, which is worth remembering when you read the screen after a spin.
The board has 9 lines, shown as LINES 9. The bottom bar also has a TURBO MODE button and an auto button that the vendor spells 'AUTO PALY'.
A New Year feast on the reels
- Dragon-dance head: 10,000 / 500 / 50 / 10, and 2 for a single one
- Lion-dance head: 5,000 / 250 / 25 / 5
- Red envelopes and a basket of oranges: 1,000 / 150 / 20 / 5
- Dumplings and a bao basket: 300 / 50 / 10 / 2
- Lantern and firecrackers: 200 / 25 / 5
- 福 card and plum blossom: 50 / 10 / 3
The red carp and the scatter
A red carp is the wild. The help writes 'Wild substitues for all symbols' (the vendor's spelling) and gives it no pay of its own.
The 年年有余 sign is the scatter, listed under 'scatter pays': 100 for five, 10 for four, 5 for three and 1 for two. No free spins or bonus round is described.
Dollar Ball and the jackpot meters
A Dollar Ball ENABLE button sits by the reels. Its table: 5 catches win the JACKPOT, 4 catches win the RANDOM JACKPOT, 3 pay 25, 2 pay 2 and 1 pays 1. The main screen also runs a PROGRESSIVE JACKPOT ticker with MAJOR, RANDOM and MINOR meters.
How Dollar Ball is played and what it adds to each spin is not explained on the help page, so look at the bet display before you enable it.
Keeping the celebration in budget
Set a spending limit before you start and keep to it. Turbo mode makes spins faster, which also means your budget moves faster; slow down if you want the session to last.
