The 4x5x5x5x4 shape and 2,000 ways
The rules section describes Safari Stacks as a 4x5x5x5x4 reel size slot featuring Wild symbol transformation and free spins with increasing multiplier, played with 2,000 ways. Bet ways win if the winning symbols are in succession from the leftmost reel to the right.
The total number of winning bet ways for each symbol is found by multiplying the number of adjacent winning symbols on each reel from the left to the right. The winning symbol payout is then multiplied by the number of winning bet ways, and winning combinations and payouts are made according to the Paytable.
Symbols explode, new ones drop
After the payout of every round is made, all winning symbols explode and the symbols above them cascade down for a new round. Additional winning combinations are tallied in every round until no more winning combination can be tallied.
A multiplier that is never fixed
The Multiplier section says that at the start of any main game spin, the win multiplier is randomly assigned. During any spin, if there are one or more winning symbols on the reels, then after wins are paid and the new symbols have cascaded down, the win multiplier is randomly assigned again. The picture in that section shows a bar with x1, x2, x3 and x5.
Gold frames and the Wild
Gold framed symbols appear on reel 2, 3 and/or 4 only. During any spin, some symbols on those reels, excluding the Wild and the Scatter, may appear in gold. At every new round after the new symbols have cascaded down, any gold framed symbol that was involved in a win in the previous round is transformed into a Wild symbol.
The Wild is a leafy mask above the word WILD. It substitutes for all symbols except the Scatter and has no printed pay values.
The Free Spins Feature
The Scatter is a tree on an orange background above the word SCATTER. Three Scatters appearing anywhere trigger the Free Spins Feature with 12 free spins, and each additional Scatter triggers 2 more free spins. During the feature all symbols on reel 3, excluding the Wild and the Scatter, appear in gold. The win multiplier starts with x2; in any free spin with winning symbols, after wins are paid and the new symbols have cascaded down, the multiplier is randomly assigned again. Free spins can be retriggered, and the feature is played at the same bet size as the spin that triggered it. The help panel prints no buy or extra bet rule.
Safari Stacks paytable
Values as printed on the help page for 5, 4 and 3 symbols; no basis is printed next to the table, but the rules say all wins are shown in cash (All wins showed in cash). The Wild and the Scatter have no printed pay values.
