Two pages of rules
The rules for Joker's Jewels fit on two pages; the other three explain the buttons and menus. There is a paytable, a list of five paylines and a few lines on how wins are counted. The rules pages do not mention a Wild, free spins, a Buy Feature, an Ante Bet or multipliers, and they print no maximum win.
That sets it apart from Joker's Revenge, the other jester game in the same lobby: its rules pages describe a Wild, free spins and buy options, while the Joker's Jewels pages describe only line pays and the BONUS.
How the five lines pay
The payline diagram shows five patterns on a grid of five columns and three rows: three straight rows and two bent lines. A line win has to begin on the leftmost reel and continue across neighbouring reels to the right. Each line pays just its best combination, and when several lines win, their amounts are summed. The page ties line wins to the bet per line and BONUS wins to the total bet.
The symbols
The jester mask in a blue, red and yellow hat is the top line symbol: five on a line show RM2,000.00 at a total bet of RM2.00, four show RM400.00 and three RM40.00. A lute and a set of juggling pins share the next level, then pink jester shoes and three jewels: a red gem, a light blue octagon gem and a blue orb.
The blue orb is the only line symbol with a printed pay for two of a kind, RM2.00 at that bet. Every other symbol needs at least three on a line.
The crown BONUS
The BONUS is a jewelled crown with the word Bonus across it. It pays on any position, so the crowns do not need to sit on a line: the page shows RM20.00 for three, RM100.00 for four and RM500.00 for five at a total bet of RM2.00. The rules pages link no other feature to the crown.
Bet settings
The bet menu shows the number of lines and the total bet in coins and cash, and you change it with the COINS PER LINE and COIN VALUE fields. The CREDIT and BET labels switch between coins view and cash view when tapped. The paytable amounts move with your total bet.
Keeping it relaxed
A short rulebook lets you check each result against the paytable. Decide on a budget before you start, try the lowest bets first and stop once the budget is used. Each spin is entertainment, not a way to earn money.
