The board and the 40 lines
The help page describes XiYangYang as a video slot with an irregular board and 40 paylines, and shows a diagram of all 40 lines. It does not write out how many rows each reel has, so look at the board in the game. Line wins pay in succession from the leftmost reel to the right, and only the highest win on each line is paid.
Each symbol pays for 3, 4 or 5 in a row. There is no 2-of-a-kind pay in the table.
The gold ingot Wild
The Wild is a gold ingot on a green tile. It substitutes for all symbols, and it is also the top symbol in the paytable: 5 Wilds on a line show 22.20, 4 show 9.70 and 3 show 2.20 at a bet of 1. Below it come the golden lion head, the gold coin and the red packet, then the letters A, K, Q, J and the 10.
The four Special Win features
The help page says there are 4 special bonus features that "may triggered randomly in the main game". It gives each one a short line:
- Full Wilds: 1 to 5 reels turn into full Wild reels at random.
- Always High Odds Symbols: only high odds symbols appear on the board.
- Low Odds upgrade to High Odds: 1 or 2 kinds of low odds symbols turn into one kind of high odds symbol at random.
- Reel Shuffle: all symbols on reels 2, 3 or 4 are shuffled and change into the same symbol kind.
What the help page leaves out
The help page does not say which symbols count as high odds and which as low odds, and it does not describe any free game, scatter or jackpot. If you read about free spins for XiYangYang somewhere else, it is not in this help page.
Reading the paytable
Payouts are shown as bet = 1, and the game uses a dynamic paytable, so the amounts on screen follow the bet you choose. As an example at a bet of 1, five red packets on a line show 4.20 and three 10s show 0.10. Wins on different lines are each paid at the highest win for that line.
Before you spin
Set a spending limit for the session and start with a small bet while you get used to the irregular board. The Special Win features come at random, according to the help page, so there is nothing to time or chase. Malfunctions void all pays and plays; a round already decided after your bet stays valid if you disconnect.
